Acknowledgments and tax status
After successful payment, donors will receive an acknowledgment with their name, gift amount, date, the Society’s name and EIN, and a statement that no goods or services were provided. The Society’s application for recognition under section 501(c)(3) is pending with the IRS. Tax deductibility is not assured.
